Maximum number of fare dodgers in January was on tram route No. 1
In January 2019, 2446 fare dodgers were fined in the public transport operated by „Rīgas satiksme”.
Just to compare: 22411 ticket inspections were carried out in January 2019, an increase of 2463 on December 2018.
In January 2019, the maximum number of fare dodgers was fined on tram route No. 1 (236). whereas nobody was fined for fare dodging on bus routes No. 34, 57 and 59.
